I have been traveling for work this week and have gotten behind on the whole operation. Only 1 week until the YT launch!

I still have a few videos to shoot and then edit everything, check it all once last time, and get it uploaded prior to the evening of the 22nd. Feeling the heat!

All that said, it will be short this week. I’ll make up for it once everything is caught up, though!

This week I actually just want to shout out the Amphibian Foundation.

I started their Master Herpetologist Program this week (yes, while traveling for my full-time job🤦‍♂️). It’s an intensive overview of Amphibians and Reptiles, and I am enrolled in the Husbandry and Captive Management course for the spring semester already.

Next up on the list is the Reptile Biology course, but I am trying not to over-commit!

Along with the courses they offer, they do a ton of conservation work around Georgia. I encourage anyone to go check them out. The courses are very affordable as far as courses at this level go!

No dad jokes this week, but I have a list to do, so I’ll get back at it.

On the evening of the 22nd, my first 3 or 4 videos will go live. This first mini-series is just about beginner topics, like picking a species, initial setup, and budget.

I would love it if you come watch and share them around! The next newsletter will be the next morning, and I might have some behind-the-scenes stuff in video format for it.

It’s the plan, but I can’t over-commit just yet with everything going on.

It’s also pairing/brumation season, so I have Spotted Pythons and Ball Pythons to pair and manage the tempo for, plus some Hognose down for brumation. Very busy!
