It is a short one this week, but entertaining!

Science and Around The World

One of the best things to kick off the year is to browse all the collections of awesome wildlife photos.

National Geographic always has spectacular photos, but my favorite from this year is still the silver winner of the World Nature Photography Awards “Behaviour-Reptiles and Amphibians” shot By Jules Oldroyd:

Agamas are my favorite lizard, and this one’s attitude is definitely a big reason why!

If you want to see the rest they are below! You just have to enter your email (again) to see them on NatGeo.

Community

Some of the best community posts I have seen in a while are from the National Parks Service! They are constantly posting cheeky stuff like this:

I am a sucker for dad jokes…I have a pretty big list of them that are herp-related, so I decided to lean into them while I am getting the YouTube channel off the ground.

I had to figure out how to make a meme, but definitely check out the joke!

That is all for this week! 20 days until the first YouTube video goes out so if you aren’t already go subscribe to the channel so you can be one of the first to see it!
